In Which I Bless the Rains Down in Africa

The rains are here!  Finally!  They are late.  The end of the dry season is a time of water shortages, excessive windblown dust, hard to find food, and, due to hydroelectric reliance, power shortages.  Everything gets better when the rains come, and it is just more pleasant to be outside, because there is no longer dust blown into and onto everything, and the dust haze washes out of the sky.  Now I understand why rain gods tend to be popular in the tropics.

The Kipengere mountains, now with rain clouds.
